Stellar has a current opportunity for a
Cybersecurity Liaison (CSL) with the skills necessary to accomplish organizational unique Communications and Information Systems support for AFLCMC Wright Patterson Air Force Base organizations for Information Technology (IT) functions.
Job Summary: Oversees large IT projects utilizing various job category and skills requirements, to include installation, configuration and troubleshooting of networks, systems, applications, databases, and related computer software and equipment. Duties require a broad knowledge of data sources, data flow, system interactions, advanced computer equipment and software applications, and advanced systems design techniques to develop solutions to unyielding complex problems and to advise policy making officials on systems design and ADP forecasts.
The CSL shall execute the work assigned under this contract from the customer, AFLCMC corporate, and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) enterprise network perspective. The Cybersecurity Liaison shall also provide information, best practices, standardized processes, and standardized configuration and disseminate information across AFLCMC customers.
Primary Duties: - Cyber Security Liaison.
- Manages user and organizational network accounts and ensures that modifications are done in accordance with applicable policies.
- Develops or makes enhancements to existing systems to improve business methods consistent with organization wide initiatives.
- Includes architectural planning, participates in new technology analysis, tradeoff studies, test planning and design analysis.
- Analyzes and develops technical documentation detailing the integration and system performance.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment.
- Trains customers; identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures; and orders and replaces parts as needed.
Secondary Duties: - Maintains TEMPEST and COMPUSEC documentation.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under general direction.
Position Requirements: - 5+ years of direct experience, m ust demonstrate the ability to work independently or under general direction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is highly desired but will accept an A.S. Computer Science degree with additional experience.
- Ability to pick up understanding of new tasks quickly.
- Effective listening skills and attention to detail.
- MUST currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- MUST currently possess and be able to maintain an IAT II Certification (i.e., Security+) or higher.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
