The Work You Will Do:
The Environmental Consultant performs specialized work under the Program Manager for the Division of Waste Management’s District Support Program. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in science or engineering, contaminated site assessment and knowledge of human health and ecological risk assessment.
The Difference You Will Make:
The Environmental Consultant assists in all areas of the division and the FDEP’s six district offices to support efficient cleanup of contaminated sites. As a group, the section works to build strong knowledge, expertise and partnerships among the public and private entities engaged in contaminated site cleanup. These projects help ensure safe, clean drinking water, and prevent chemical exposures that could adversely affect human health or the environment.
