Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABBâs market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.The work model for the role is: remote role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the United States.You will be mainly accountable for:â
- Defining and implementing the specified market (global/regional) channel sales strategy, in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensuring regular follow-up to achieve them.â
- Implementing annual performance assessments and forecast processes for channel partners.â
- Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities are in place for our channel partners.â
- Designing the policies and relevant standards (e.g., market segmentation, customer due diligence, cybersecurity) to be used globally for channel partner evaluation and certification.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications For The Role - Associateâs Degree in technology with combined 5 yearsâ experience in instrumentation as either a customer, selling, technician or project manager.
- Solid understanding of Analytics including but not limited to CGA, GCâs, FTIR, Tuneable Diode Lasers, and CWA. Working knowledge of instrumentation is also an asset.
- Leverage any existing relationships in the industry to bring new channel opportunities to ABB
- Overnight travel is estimated to be up to 130 nights per year (30%-50%) depending on business intensity. Overnight travel includes travel to regions, factories, channel partner locations, customer locations, trade shows, sales meetings and industry conferences.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
