YWCA Charleston's Past & Present Boutique's unique shopping experience offers a diverse selection of gently used men's, women's, and children's clothing, accessories, shoes, and gift items.
Beyond retail, the YWCA Past & Present plays a vital role in supporting the community. Clothing from the store is provided free of charge to YWCA program participants, ensuring that everyone has access to essential items.
Proceeds support the operations of the YWCA Shanklin Center for Senior Enrichment, a small community of full-time subsidized independent living and handicap-accessible apartments for victims of elderly abuse, and our Alicia McCormick Empowerment Homes, a transitional housing program for women and children consisting of ten apartments that provide up to 24 months of housing and support services, helping individuals rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, or stalking.
The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in daily store operations. They are responsible for opening and closing, managing cash flow, providing reports to management, and overseeing paid staff and volunteers at the store.
