Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is work from home.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the Rockies region.You will be mainly accountable for:â
- Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABBâs offering and strategy.â
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.â
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.â
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Qualifications For The Role - Associateâs Degree in technology with combined 4 yearsâ experience in instrumentation sales through direct and or indirect channel partners or distribution preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies that improve efficiency and lead to winning
- Intense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winning.
- Solid understanding of instrumentation and level technology and markets.
- Overnight travel is estimated to be up to 50-75 nights per year depending on territory. Overnight travel includes travel to regions, factories, channel partner locations, customer locations, trade shows, sales meetings and industry conferences.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
